Product of substance

On a late summer evening, after spending a wonderful day in a cove, we reached the house of a very dear friend.

Skipping over the preamble which in itself represents part of the substance discussed in this writing, I want to focus on what happened at this friend's house.

He had always talked to me about what his passion is but he had never made me try what he calls "ciucculat" (chocolate).

He began to cut some bacon, from the cut and the resulting aroma you could already savor the taste. Split some eggs from the egg white, 3 out of 4 used. The pasta water was already boiling. Everything was fitted together as if in a mechanism now well tested and capable of functioning at its best.

All the products were ready to be channeled into a single potentially artfully stitched substance. While we were observing the composition of the final product, an almost maniacal collaboration between husband and wife was staged, one of those scenes that are seen in the greatest restaurants between chef and assistant, a true delight in seeing the couple's union even in this culinary interlude.

Ho sempre ritenuto che la pasta appena scolata dall'acqua andasse amalgamata con gli ingredienti che gli dessero gusto ma quella sera questa mia ipotesi fu smontata. Ho notato come la vera riuscita di un piatto fosse proprio il giusto tempo di attesa affinchè ogni cosa si potesse unire nel giusto contesto, in un medesimo ambiente creato appositamente per questo incontro che avrebbe suscitato così tanto stupore.

E' inutile dirlo, se ho raccontato tutto ciò è semplicemente perchè il risultato finale è stato nettamente lontano dalle mie aspettative. Io pregustavo un piatto sicuramente buono ma un tipico piatto di pasta condiviso tra amici fatto di una ottima cucina ma mai e poi mai mi sarei aspettato di gustare un piatto così eccezionale. Dire eccezionale è sminuirlo. Ci si aspetta che i ristoranti Gournet ti possano proporre un qualcosa del genere ma mai un semplice ragazzo che mette così tanta passione in ciò che afferma di fare bene. Afferma di fare bene appunto perchè la sua esperienza in merito lo ha portato a perfezionarsi e ad essere sicuro di ciò che sa di poterti far assaggiare.

Se non è stato chiaro il concetto e sei più vicino al mondo musicale allora ti propongo la soluzione per capire ciò che intendo.

Passerei del tempo a scrivere della fantastica sensazione che mi ha scatenato quel piatto e non solo.

Alla fine ho semplicemente capito, non perchè sono lì sempre ad associare le cose a Dio ma sono stato proprio ispirato nel comprendere che le condizioni della vita sono proprio in questo modo, si intersecano, si ritrovano, si amalgamano restando se stesse, esplodono in qualcosa di buono sempre e soltanto se si sa attendere i giusti tempi.
La fretta di voler giungere ai propri risultati considerandoli buoni non sono pari ai giusti risultati che giungono dalla conoscenza di ciò che si vuole.

It is precisely for this reason that by opening your eyes to the world you discover things that go beyond experiencing a simple evening with friends, a real lesson taught in an ignorant way by friends who do things in the right direction.

Ci si nasconde tante volte dietro tante verità tirate fuori dalla Bibbia e copiate ad hoc per convincere gli altri di qualcosa che sicuramente si matura in modo sostanziale e naturale senza conoscere Cristo. Anche qui una lezione biblica ovvero che lo Spirito Santo guida anche chi è inconsapevole e non sa che è lì per farsi conoscere.

Questa serata era la risposta di Dio alle vicende che una coppia vive senza saperle di vivere ma è avvolta da ciò che il "mondo" propone, in cui ti trasporta e ti intrappola.

Dio è onnipresente e non per questo non guida gli ignari, anzi aspetta proprio che riconoscano che Lui è lì, da sempre, per sempre, per una vita nuova fatta di tante meraviglie.
